Amy Duncan serves as encumbrance clerk and purchasing officer for the City of Stilwell. She has worked in that position for eight years.

 

As encumbrance clerk she is responsible to make sure money is in an account before she issues a purchase order to the department heads. She also orders for department heads and the office, does bank reconciliation and keeps track of contracts and vendors and their 1099s and W9s.

 

Duncan said she appreciate Soaps her coworkers.

 

“The people I work with make the City of Stilwell a good place to work,” Duncan said. “We all get along and work good together.”

 

She is married to Roger Duncan Jr. and they call Baron home. He works at NEO Feed and Fertilizer in Westville. Their family includes four kids: Sunny, Malachi, Kaylee, and Trinity. They have one grandbaby A.J. and another on the way in June to parents Sunny and Brent Soap.

They attend Old Baptist Mission Church in Westville.


Stilwell is a great place to live, said Duncan, “It’s a small town with good people.”
