The City is committed to sound financial management as set forth in the budget and financial policies. The principal goal of the City is to maintain a satisfactory and efficient level of service that our elected officials and citizens expect, at an affordable cost. This division provides financial support for the operations of city government, including accounting, banking and support for payroll.


Encumbrance Clerk and Assistant City Clerk/Treasurer, Amy Duncan, is responsible for procurement of all goods and services for all City departments. 

Amy processes and maintains daily purchase orders, invoices, prepares 1099s for vendors, and communicates with vendors and department heads.


She reconciles bank statements monthly, works the front register to ensure cash receipts balance at the end of each day and runs daily reports.


Amy also serves as office manager, and is the point person for the office staff, someone they can come to when they have questions or need help to make sure the office runs smoothly.


As Assistant City Clerk / Treasurer she assists with those duties as needed or when that person is unavailable.
