A strong community-policing philosophy guides the efforts of the department as officers work with community partners to identify and solve problems.
On behalf of the 19 dedicated members of the Stilwell Police Department (SPD), thank you for your interest in our agency. The dedication and courage of the men and women of the SPD keep the citizens in the City of Stilwell safe and secure. We are proud to be part of this community and pledge to serve with integrity and honor.
The dispatch staff handle incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, providing a vital link between our officers and the community.
The members of SPD also give back to the community through Shop with a Cop, and the annual Halloween Costume Contest providing gift cards to the winners.

Patrolling all city streets in a highly visible manner to deter crime
Providing effective emergency services communications

Protecting the rights of all citizens
Aggressively pursuing all criminals and vigorously seeking their prosecution
Producing accurate reports in a timely manner
Continually improving our skills and knowledge
Working in partnership with the community and educating citizens in crime prevention
